GOD'S FAVOUR BESTOWED ON JESUS CHRIST

VERSE NO. 101

      Once again the discourse turns upon Jesus Christ and his mother; and the argument continues to the end of the chapter. Here, reference is made to some of the miracles and abnormal phenomena that were done by Jesus Christ with the permission of God, and are as follows:-

      1- He was strengthened by the Holy Spirit, or GABRIEL the arch angel of God, whose duty was to guard, to inform and to look after the prophets and Messengers of God.

      2- Creating bird out of clay and breathing life into its body.

      3- Healing incurable disease, such as the born blind and lepers.

      4- Restoring a dead person to life.

      5- Being saved, and raised up alive from the tricks and traps of his blood- thirsty enemies who called themselves Jews, and rejecting all the clear signs given him by Allah.

      (The Glorious Qurجn frequently asserts that, it testifies and confirms whatever of Book, Wisdom, miracles and etc. was sent down to the prophet before Mohammad S.A. Even in this New Testament, that all agree that it is not the real GOSPEL that was sent down to Jesus Christ, we can easily take out the miracles mentioned in the above verse (No. 110) instances of which are as follows:-

1- JESUS HEALS A PARALYSED MAN

      Some people brought to Jesus a paralysed man lying on bed. When Jesus saw how much faith they had, he said to the paralysed man:- ``Your sins are forgiven.'' The man got up and went home.

2-JESUS HEALS TWO BLIND MEN

      When Jesus went indoors two blind men came to him. Jesus said to them:- ``Do you believe that I can heal you? `Yes Sir', they answered. Then Jesus touched their eyes and said:- ``Let it happen as you believe, and their sight was restored.''   MATTHEW 9: 21

3- JESUS HEALS A DUMB MAN

      Some people brought to Jesus a man who was dumb, and could not speak because he had a demon. Jesus took out the demon from him and he started talking as any one else.   MATTHEW 9: 32

4- JESUS RESTORES TO LIFE THE DEAD LAZARUS

      A man named LAZARUS lived in BATHENY where Mary and her sister lived. Lazarus was ill and finally died. Mary fell on the feet of Jesus and said if you were my brother Lazarus would not die. Jesus asked her where have you burried him. Then Jesus accompained by the mournful men and women, went to the tomb which was a cave. Jesus ordered to take the door stone of the cave away. Mortha said:- ``There shall out come a bad smell if we take the stone away.'' When the stone was put aside Jesus prayed to God and said:- ``My Lord! I thank you for listening to my prayer. I know that you have always answered me. I ask this for the sake of these people here, so that they may believe that I am Your Messenger and you have sent me to them.'' After this prayer Jesus loudly called in:- ``LAZARUS come out!'' He came out soon while he was wrapped in his death cloth!
